Motorcycle – Car Collision Claims Life of Southeast Minnesota Man
Update: State Patrol ID's Motorcyclist Killed in Southeast Minnesota Crash
Blooming Prairie, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol responded earlier today to a fatal motorcycle crash near Blooming Prairie.
A preliminary report on the incident indicates the victim was driving a motorcycle that collided with a car traveling in the same direction. The crash was reported just before noon on northbound Highway 218 near the junction with Highway 30 in Steele County.
The victim has only been identified as a 57-year-old Austin man. His name is expected to be released Friday morning.
The car was driven by 21-year-old Mya Anne Gaul of Montgomery. She had two passengers, both teenage girls. They were all wearing seatbelts and were not injured.
The State Patrol is indicating alcohol was not involved and the road condition was dry at the time of the deadly collision.
