Motorcycle Crash Hospitalizes Rochester, MN Man
Rushford, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash in Fillmore County sent a Rochester motorcyclist to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
The State Patrol responded to the motorcycle crash along Hwy. 30 west of Rushford. The crash was reported shortly before 1 p.m.
The state crash report indicated the motorcycle was traveling west on the two-lane road when it lost control and went into the ditch. The operator, identified as 73-year-old Darrell Gene Phillips, was brought from the crash scene to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Phillips was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says. The Rushford Fire Department and Rushford Ambulance Service also responded to the motorcycle crash.
