Lanesboro, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 20-year-old man was injured Friday afternoon in a motorcycle crash along a winding stretch of Highway in southeastern Minnesota's bluff country.

Motorcycle Crashed Into Guardrail

The State Patrol says 20-year-old Nolan Zubat of Owatonna was riding a motorcycle west on Highway 16 when he lost control and slid into a guardrail.

Crash Occurred on Scenic and Twisting Highway 

The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m. on a very curvy stretch of the highway near Inspiration Point, approximately 1½ miles south of Lanesboro.

Transported to Rochester For Treatment

The State Patrol says the injured motorcyclist was transported to St. Marys Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash report indicates he was wearing a helmet, and alcohol was not involved.
