
Motorcycle Crash Shutdown Highway 63 North of Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A section of Highway 63 north of Rochester was closed to traffic Saturday evening while emergency personnel responded to a motorcycle crash.
Preliminary reports indicate the highway was shut down around 6:30 PM to allow the Mayo One helicopter to land and transport the crash victim to the hospital. The reports indicated the area affected was between the roundabout at 75th Street Northeast and Highway 247.
The crash reportedly involved a motorcyclist striking a guard rail along Highway 63 about a mile south of Highway 247. The first emergency responders at the scene reported the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries but was conscious.

The name of the injured motorcyclist and other details about the incident have not been released.
