Motorcyclist Critically Hurt in Collision With MN State Trooper
Brooklyn Center, MN (KROC-AM News) - A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash late last night involving a State Trooper.
The State Patrol says the trooper was responding to a call for assistance just before 11 PM was rear-ended by a motorcycle. The incident occurred along I-94 just south of the I-694 interchange in Brooklyn Center.
The trooper was not injured, but the motorcyclist was transported to North Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was identified as Kyle Luke Petersen of Carver.

Bemidji, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is also reporting a fatal crash in northwestern Minnesota involving a piece of farm machinery.
A rural Bemidji man pulling a fertilizer cart north on Highway 71 just south of Bemidji when his tractor and a northbound SUV collided shortly after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. The 34-year-old Park Rapids woman driving the SUV was killed. Her name has not been released.
