
Motorcyclist Wipes Out After Avoiding Deer Near Rochester, MN
Dover, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcyclist was hospitalized after wiping out to avoid striking a deer on Hwy. 14 in Olmsted County Tuesday evening.

The State Patrol responded to the traffic incident along Hwy. 14 east of Dover around 5:45 p.m. The motorcyclist was traveling west on the two-lane road when he laid the motorcycle down to avoid hitting a deer.
The motorcyclist is identified as 29-year-old Anthony Paul Wegman. The state crash report says the Dover man was brought to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the report says. The Dover Fire Department, Eyota Ambulance and Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
