Mower County Will Get New Judge
Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) -- Minnesota Commission on Judicial Selection is now accepting applications for a new judgeship in Mower County.
The State Supreme Court has ordered that an upcoming referee position in the Second Judicial District be transferred to the Third Judicial district in southeastern Minnesota and converted into a district judgeship. That change will occur April 5th following the retirement of Referee JoAnne Yanish.
The deadline for submitting applications for the position is March 16th.
