Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sent to prison for a naked intrusion into a Rochester home last fall.

According to the criminal complaint in the case, Rochester police were called to a home in southwest Rochester on the evening of November 25. The residents of the house told officers they were watching TV when an intruder entered through an unlocked door. When officers arrived at the scene, the criminal complaint says they found 29-year-old Brody Robert Weinmann in the kitchen with a sheet draped over his body. He was described as staring straight ahead, not speaking, while repeatedly sticking out his tongue. The court document says he eventually told police that he had used drugs but did not know what he had taken.

Truck Found Crashed in a Neighborhood on the Other Side of Highway 52

The criminal complaint says Weinmann was taken into custody and then told police that he had been driving his truck when he crashed. He stated that he then exited the vehicle, removed his clothing, and went inside the home. Rochester police reported that his vehicle was found on top of a guardrail at the intersection of 20th Street and Edgewater Court Southwest, which is on the opposite side of Highway 52 from the home where the break-in occurred.

Weinmann was charged with first-degree burglary, along with misdemeanor counts of trespassing and indecent exposure. Last month, he entered a Norgaard plea to a second-degree burglary charge in exchange for the dismissal of the other charges.

A Norgaard plea means a defendant admits guilt but claims to have no recollection of the events due to drug or alcohol intoxication.
