One of my favorite titles is "Coffee Queen". It is almost as if my ears are tuned to just hear updates about coffee spots in town. One spot that I have a bit of history with just had some exciting news - they just opened up their 4th location in Rochester.

If you haven't been inside the new Cafe Steam spot to meet up with a friend yet and grab a cup of coffee, below is an inside look from my recent visit.

New Cafe Steam Shop Is Now Open In Rochester, Minnesota

Last year, I was a bit bummed when I heard that Caribou Coffee closed its location on 2nd Street across from St. Mary's. In the story that I wrote about the closure, I explained that construction was blamed for the lack of sales, specifically, the Link Rapid Transit project. It is a similar story for another business a block away, Tinn's, which just announced yesterday that they will remain closed due to construction.

I know you can get Caribou Coffee and a few other fun drinks inside the hospital across the street but this was just a great little shop and convenient for me to meet friends at every now and then.

Thankfully, this spot didn't stay empty long. In January, I wrote the exciting news about Cafe Steam opening up its 4th location. And yes, it was this treasured coffee spot that most of us already loved at 1147 2nd Street SW.

Opening Day For The New Cafe Steam In Rochester, Minnesota

The day we were all recovering from that epic amount of snow that hit Rochester was the day set for the grand opening of the brand new Cafe Steam on 2nd Street. Regular hours resumed on Tuesday, March 17th...which, honestly, was the perfect way to recover from all of that shoveling.

One of my motto's in life is "always say yes to coffee". This saying has led to some amazing meet-ups, introductions, and life-changing conversations. Today, I said "yes" to coffee once again and on my calendar invite it listed the new Cafe Steam spot. To say that I was excited is an understatement.

After I got my muffin and coffee, I grabbed a few fun photos too - if you haven't walked inside yet, enjoy.
