New Rochester City Attorney Hails from North Dakota
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The person picked by the Rochester City Council to be the next City Attorney has something in common with Terry Adkins, who will soon retire.
Adkins plans to retire Feb 16th and the city has announced incoming City Attorney Jason Loos will begin his new job Feb. 9th. Like Adkins, Loos earned his law degree at the University of North Dakota.
“Perhaps I have started a trend,” said Adkins.
Loos currently works as a deputy city attorney in Portland, Oregon. He has also worked as the city attorney in Laramie, Wyoming and assistant city attorney in Fargo. The North Dakota native has also worked in private practice.
