Reward for Answers in Minnesota Woman's Disappearance Increased

Randolph, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have upped the reward for information leading to answers in the disappearance of a southeast Minnesota woman.

She has been missing since July. At one point, law enforcement arrested a man described as a person of interest in the case, however he has not been charged in the disappearance.

The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year-old Nicole Anderson was last seen on the morning of July 6 walking away from her residence near Randolph.

Officials earlier stated that she left her phone, wallet, glasses, and medication behind. At the time of her disappearance, law enforcement expressed concern for her welfare.

Anderson is described as 5’10”, 135 pounds with brown eyes and blonde hair. She was wearing dark-colored pants, a gray sweatshirt and sandals.

Five days after her disappearance, the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of her boyfriend, 42-year-old Matthew Suttles. Authorities also executed a search warrant at Suttles’s home in July.

Private Donations Fuel $40,000 Increase for Reward in Randolph Woman's Disappearance

On Tuesday, Dakota County Sheriff Joe Leko announced that private donations have allowed the reward for information that leads to Anderson’s whereabouts or prosecution of those responsible for her disappearance to increase from $5,000 to $45,000.

Leko says the information must be submitted to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers. Authorities are continuing their efforts to find Anderson and say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
