No lead is safe

( Burlington, IA )   They blew it! After five innings, a Class A baseball team in Iowa -- the Burlington Bees -- had a 17-1 lead over visiting Midwest League rivals the Clinton LumberKings last night.

The next inning, the LumberKings put up six runs, then another five run in the eighth. A grand slam tied it in the ninth and, after 12 innings, the Burlington Bees lost 20-17.

The Bees are an affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
