Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Olmsted County’s passport services will be reopened to residents on Thursday.

The county was suspended last Thursday due to a staff-related illness. The county made the announcement Wednesday afternoon that passport services would be reopened on Thursday, May 5th.

Residents can return to using the Property Records and Licensing (PRL) for passport services the PRL area is the main hub of front-line customer services such as:

  • Property tax collection
  • Recorded document intake
  • Passports
  • Information desk

“We want to thank residents for their patience and understanding as our employees recovered,” the county said in a news release.
