One Teen Killed, Another Seriously Injured in Rural Minnesota Crash
Orr, MN (KROC-AM News)- One teen was killed and another was severely injured in a rural Minnesota crash Wednesday afternoon.

A news release issued by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says first responders and law enforcement were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash shortly before 7 p.m.
It happened on a two-lane road along Pelican Lake, which is about 50 miles north of Hibbing. The preliminary crash investigation indicates a westbound vehicle left the road, flipped then struck a tree.
Officials say the teenage male driving the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, also described as a teenage male, was taken to a Duluth hospital.
The passenger is described to be in critical condition. The names of the vehicle occupants are being withheld pending family notification.
Authorities say the vehicle appeared to have been traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash. Both occupants were buckled up.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office are continuing to investigate the deadly crash.
