A California company is recalling almost 300,000 pounds of ready-to-eat canned corned beef. They were imported without a re-inspection once they arrived in the USA. They came into the USA June 6, 2020 to January 21, 2021 and are labeled with a few different "best before" dates. Just a few of the different styles are shown below.

They were shipped nationwide, but we don't know specific retailers yet. One thing they all have in common is they have “Australia Inspected” number “39.”

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ pantries or in their refrigerators. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
