Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit by 2 Vehicles on Minnesota Road
Coon Rapids, MN (KROC-AM News)- A pedestrian lost her life after being struck by two vehicles while crossing a Twin Cities road.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a motor vehicle vs pedestrian crash shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday. It happened in Coon Rapids.
The initial investigation indicates the woman was hit by a vehicle traveling west on Coon Rapids Blvd. Northwest. After the first collision, she was hit again by a different westbound vehicle.
Emergency responders rendered aid to the woman and she was taken by ambulance from the scene to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Officials say the vehicle drivers, described as adult males, were not injured and are cooperating with the investigation.
The identities of the victim and two drivers have not been released. The deadly traffic incident is being investigated by the Coon Rapids Police Department, Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
