So far only preliminary details have been released. The State Patrol responded to the deadly incident shortly before 12:30 Thursday morning.

26-Year-Old Woman Struck and Killed by SUV While Walking on I-94 in St. Paul

The fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision occurred under the 7th St. bridge. 

An SUV was traveling west in the center lane of the freeway when the pedestrian was struck, the state crash report says.

The State Patrol is describing the pedestrian as a 26-year-old St. Paul woman. Her name has not been released. 

A 46-year-old St. Paul woman was driving the SUV. Her name is also not listed in the state crash report

The State Patrol is planning to release more information about the deadly incident by Sunday morning.
