Pedestrian Killed on NE Iowa Highway
Kensett, IA (KROC-AM News) - The Iowa State Patrol and Worth County Sheriff’s Department have released the name of a pedestrian who was killed Friday while walking on a highway near his home.
The incident report indicates 58-year-old Rick Johnson of rural Kensett, Iowa was struck by a car driven by a Mason City man around 5:20 PM. His death remains under investigation.
It occurred on a two-lane road about a mile east of I-35 and about 5 miles southwest of Kensett, which located approximately 60 miles southwest of Rochester.
