
Hwy. 52 Crash Near Chatfield Sends 25-Year-Old Man to the Hospital
Chatfield, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash in southeast Minnesota sent a young Iowa man to the hospital Wednesday morning.

He was the only occupant of the only vehicle involved. The State Patrol and other emergency responders were called to the scene around 1:15 a.m.

Iowa Man Injured After Crashing Pickup on Hwy. 52 South of Chatfield
The crash happened on Hwy. 52 south of Chatfield. A pickup traveling north left the two-lane highway and entered the ditch, according to the state crash report.
25-year-old Angel Torres Gonzalez of Decorah was identified as the driver. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Gonzalez was buckled up and not under the influence of alcohol, the state crash report says. Hwy. 52 was wet at the time of the crash.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, Chatfield Police Department, the Chatfield Fire Department and Chatfield Ambulance also responded to the single-vehicle crash.
