Pine Island Woman and 2 Others Injured in Wabasha Crash

Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News) - An elderly Pine Island woman was among three people taken to a hospital following a traffic crash in Wabasha on Saturday.

The State Patrol says 84-year-old Marilyn Books was driving an SUV south on Highway 61 when she attempted a left turn and collided with a northbound pickup truck. She and the occupants of the pickup, 65-year-old Raymond and 58-year-old Cathy Malzacher of Sparta, Wisconsin, were transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Wabasha with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash was reported at 11:50 AM.
