Milwaukee, WI (KROC AM News) -  The Minnesota Twins open the regular 2021 season Thursday, more than three months earlier than last year’s start that was delayed by the pandemic.

The Twins will play the Brewers in Milwaukee in the first game of a three-game series. They will play three more games in Detroit before returning to Minnesota for their home opener next Thursday.

The Twins hope to build on the success of their past two seasons when they won the American League Central Division title.

The team’s current ace is Kenta Maeda and he has the honor of starting the first game of the 2021 season.
