Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Polar Plunge is back for the 21st year in Rochester, and teams can start signing up now.

The Polar Plunge is a one-of-a-kind fundraiser presented by Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Minnesota.
This year, the goal is to raise $250,00. As of Tuesday afternoon, they have raised $46,687 with a total of 387 plungers set to dive into the freezing cold water at Foster Arend Park in Rochester on February 12th. The plunge is set to start at Noon.

The Rochester Polar Plunge has raised over $3,397,739 in its 20-year history and in 2021, 463 Plungers raised $178,219.
