If you are a fan of eating an endless amount of french fries, I've got a bit of sad news for you today.  A National restaurant chain in the United States that has several locations in Minnesota, just announced that 70 locations are closing.

This closing news comes just weeks after another large National chain, Joann Fabrics, shared with the world that all of its locations were closing.  The week prior to this news, the public was told that 533 Joann Fabrics locations would shutter for good including 12 in Minnesota.  To say that the news of all stores closing was a shock is an understatement.

About the same time, another National craft retailer store, Hobby Lobby, closed up shop for good at one location in Minnesota.

National Restaurant Chain Closing 70 Locations in the United States

net loss of $77.5 million in 2024 has led to National restaurant chain, Red Robin, to exclaim that they will be closing 70 different locations.  This chain has been a popular choice since 1969 for those craving a hamburger and is well-known for its bottomless fries and sides.

According to the Red Robin About page on its website, Red Robin currently has over 500 restaurants throughout the United States and Canada.

What 70 Red Robin Stores Are Closing?

At this time, Red Robin has not identified what stores are closing.  In a press release, they did mention that they would be looking at stores that are underperforming as well as those with leases expiring.
