Casablanca, formerly located in the HyVee Barlow Plaza, closed its doors for good on August 11th. The day before a message was posted to the restaurant's Facebook page that said, "As of tomorrow (August 11, 2020) "Casablanca Restaurant" will be no longer. DON'T FRET JUST YET, however, as we are planning on returning to the culinary scene soon. It may be in a month or possibly months. We are looking at a new location, name, and vibe!"

If you never visited Casablanca, you missed out on some truly amazing food. Thankfully, Chef Youness is back. We now know what the new restaurant will be and where it will be located. The popular chef is opening a French restaurant called, Chez Bojji, in downtown Rochester at 301 N. Broadway. The new restaurant's Facebook page says "Our mission is to serve an unforgettable culinary experience made with the finest ingredients. Dine with us, and travel to Europe without a passport!"

The new joint is still listed as closed while construction finishes up and a new staff is assembled. They are currently looking to hire servers and a sous chef, check their Facebook page for details on how to apply. Chez Bojji is expected to open in downtown Rochester early this fall.
