Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  A fairly large power outage was reported in Rochester Friday morning.

Rochester Public Utilities spokesman Tony Benson says it affected a “good-sized” section of the southwest part of the city, including the TJ Maxx Plaza area and the 2nd St corridor between Highway 52 and 21st Ave.

Benson says the outage was first reported around 5:00 AM and most customers had their service restored by 6:30 AM.  

He did not say what caused the outage.
