The dough-heads blowing the now-no-longer impending snow storm out of proportion are fine, it's the "Wahh I guess I don't get to have an opinion" whiners that are the problem! Rant ON!!!

If you have an opinion, by all means, let's hear it. That's a great thing about America. If a snowstorm is predicted, and you think it's going to be huge, great, shout it from the rooftops (if that's your thing). If shouting about the weather (figuratively or literally) is not your thing, and the shouters annoy you? Call 'em out.

I'd like y'all to be polite, but I know it's not easy (see the video, you'll see what I mean). But even if you're not going to be polite, you still get to put your two cents in.

However, (and this is a big BUTT Simone), when someone disagrees with you, they're not trying to take away your right to speak. They're just disagreeing with you.

When I see or hear, "Fine, then I guess I don't have a right to an opinion, then!" I think, "You are a dough-head."

a) Unless someone has literally said, "You don't have a right to an opinion!" you're making crap up. You're acting like a 5-year-old.

ii) You are upset someone disagreed with you, which YOU JUST DID to someone else. How does that not even occur to you?

And, in case you're wondering, this isn't me saying you can't speak, don't get to have an opinion, or to shut up. It's me making a point.

SIDE NOTE: I find it interesting how many people will say,  "Fine, then I guess I don't have a right to an opinion, then!" and then attack someone else for being too sensitive.

RANT OFF
