Rochester, MN (KROC-AM NNews) - Almost everything else about 2020 has been unusual, so why wouldn’t the weather on election day fit the pattern.
The National Weather Service says this election day was tied with November 4th, 2008 as the warmest election day on record in Rochester. The unofficial afternoon high temperature hit 74-degrees and matched the peak temperature reported on election day 12 years ago.
Today’s high temperature was also only a degree below the current record high temperature for November 3rd. It was also set in 2008.
