Retired Rochester Businessman and Lawmaker Has Died
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A funeral is planned next weekend for a retired Rochester business owner and former state lawmaker.
According to an obituary published by the Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, Don Frerichs died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital. He was 88 years old.
Frerichs was elected to the Minnesota House in 1981 and represented Rochester and surrounding areas for 16 years. He also owned and operated a number of businesses, including Frerichs Hardware and the Miracle Mile Shopping.
The funeral service for Frerichs will take place next Saturday afternoon at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church beginning at 1 PM.
