Robbery Reported at North Chipotle Location in Rochester, MN

Rochester police responded early this morning to an armed robbery at a local restaurant.
Police Captain Casey Moilanen says the incident was reported shortly after midnight at the Chipotle location near the north Target Store on Marketplace Drive Northwest. The 24-year-old woman working at the business told officers that a man approached her after she went out the back door of the restaurant to dump trash in a dumpster.

After a brief conversation, the Chipotle employee told police the man brandished a handgun and ordered her back into the restaurant. He then ordered her to empty the safe before he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
As of this morning, there have not been any arrests in the case.
