
Rochester City Council Not Ready For Chateau Theater Vote

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester City Council has decided to revisit the Chateau Theater operator issue at a future meeting.
The council was scheduled to vote Monday night on a staff recommendation involving an agreement with Threshold Arts to operate the historic downtown building. The council tabled the recommendation.

The council did approve salary increases for all members and the mayor.
The mayor’s salary will increase to nearly $84,000, the council president will receive $64,000 and other council members will see a boost to $56,000.
Councilmembers Campion and Palmer voted against the motion.
