Rochester Couples Share Stories Why Their Partner is a Great Valentine

Love is in the air! With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I figured we could spread the love a little.

Over the past week, we've been getting stories from people around Rochester, Minnesota about what makes their partner, or someone else special in their life, a great Valentine.

Some of the stories we got were just so dang cute that I wanted to share.

Why Do You and Your Partner Deserve the Perfect Valentine?

Before we get into it, I have to say, it has been an absolute privilege to read all of your stories. Thank you for sharing them with us. It means a lot that you would entrust us with these stories about you and your loved ones, and it makes my heart feel full.

(I am keeping all of these stories anonymous, which means some details have been removed to maintain privacy and anonymity.)

STORY 1: We will celebrate our 46th anniversary this year. Every year together makes you realize how lucky we are, AND he's still my favorite Valentine!

STORY 2: My wife deserves a Valentine's Day date night. She is currently a full-time student, works full-time, and is an amazing mom. She has a lot on her plate and never complains.

STORY 3: My husband and I have been married for 36 years, and he is my best friend.  We looked at the love our parents had for over 50 years, through rough and fun, as inspirational.

STORY 4: Although not my 'partner' in the traditional sense, she is my mother, who has assisted me so much throughout the years. Helping me as a single parent to raise my child. I am blessed.

STORY 5: My wife is a kindergarten teacher and a saint who goes above and beyond to make a difference in young lives.

STORY 6: My boyfriend is the most wonderful man I have met. He has amazing children, and he is always doing what he can to give them what they need. He never complains and always has a smile on. I have one child, and he has pretty much adopted her. He's the most amazing partner and even better father.

STORY 7: She's a great mom and a great woman. She does a lot for us, and she deserves the world in my eyes. There's so much more I can say about this woman, but I'll end up writing a book. She is the love of my life, and she deserves the world.
