Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police are investigating the death of a young man at a group home for vulnerable adults.

The fatal incident occurred around 9 o'clock Friday evening when Police Captain Casey Moilanen says officers and other emergency personnel responded to a report of a person not breathing at a residence in the 3000 block of Winesap Drive Northwest. The officers were told a 19-year-old man living in the group home was being aggressive toward other residents and had to be restrained by the group home’s staff.

The staff told officers the young man, identified by police as Antoine Evans-Hill, eventually halted his behaviors and indicated he wanted to lie down on the floor. A short time later, a member of the group home staff noticed he was not moving and discovered he was not breathing.

CPR was administered at the scene before the Evans-Hill was rushed to St. Marys Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Captain Moilanen says an autopsy was ordered to determine the cause of his death.
