Rochester Hy-Vee’s New Holiday Product You Have to See to Believe (PHOTOS)
There are some very "unusual" items at stores. Somewhere, someone in a big conference room decides that a new item will be loved by all and will sell out super fast. The item gets made and...in this case, I find it on a shelf at Hy-Vee in Rochester, Minnesota.
I'm still not sure what the purpose of this new item is that I spotted over the weekend...but this could really up your hosting game on Christmas day.
Interesting New Item Now Available At This Hy-Vee in Rochester, Minnesota
We had an almond milk emergency at my house a few days ago. Walmart didn't have any and the teenager in the house did what many teenagers do...he left about 2 Tablespoons in the one carton of almond milk that we had left.
My husband and I ventured out...in the darkest of hours... 6:01 pm (thanks Daylight Savings Time) with one item on our list - almond milk.
What we found on our journey to the back aisle of the Hy-Vee store on 37th Street in Rochester was truly an adventure.
- I saw a giant nutcracker (that I had to get a selfie with!),
- giant stuffed animals on top of the freezer section,
- and a unique creation in the dairy area...that I'm still not sure why it exists. You might like it, though.
Need A Butter Sculpture? This Hy-Vee Store in Rochester, MN Has One!
For just $4.99, you could have the best butter display in all of Minnesota on your Thanksgiving or Christmas table. Keller's has created a Christmas Tree Shaped Salted Butter Sculpture for all of us to enjoy this holiday season.
Do you put it on a warm plate and let it melt so you can dip bread in it? I am not sure how this works. Keller's Creamery has been in existence since 1906 so maybe this comes with instructions in the box.
If you are ready to add this to your table this Thanksgiving or Christmas, it is back by the coffee creamer.
...and if you love this idea, according to their website, Keller's Creamery also has Bunny Shaped and Turkey Shaped butter.
