Rochester Ice Cream Shop Named Best In The State

The ice cream is delicious and this place even has a food truck!  And now, this local ice cream shop has a new title, "Best Ice Cream Shop In The State"!

Food and Wine Magazine has named Flapdoodles Homemade Ice Cream in Rochester, MN as the best in the state!  Here's what they said in their latest article:

Flapdoodles is marked by a nautical theme, thanks to the owner’s father’s penchant for sailing. Scoops arrive sunken in a long dish, mini sugar cones propped on top like sails waving in the breeze. Flavors run the gamut from malted milk ball and carrot cake to banana nut chunk and pumpkin spice latte, which can also be spun into a milkshake or malt. - FoodandWine.com

The ice cream is amazing but so are their stores.  If you haven't been there yet, go visit their store on South Broadway or on Hwy 52.  When you walk in, funny quotes and jokes will greet you on tables and walls throughout the store.  Outside, you will find large ice cream cones that are perfect for a #selfie.  They've also got a food truck now that you can find in downtown Rochester!
