Rochester Public Schools want to ensure that nobody goes hungry this summer. Got a crazy work day, but the kiddos are home? Send them to school to eat a FREE lunch and/or breakfast with their summer meal program. There will also be a mobile food truck serving free meals. But wait, there's more - parents and older siblings can eat too! Anyone over 18 will be charged $2.30 for breakfast and $4.05 for lunch.

Several schools will be serving up hot meals most of the summer Monday through Friday. The schools participating: Franklin elementary, Gage elementary, Jefferson elementary,  Elton Hills elementary, Riverside elementary, Sunset Terrace elementary, Friedell middle school, John Adams middle school, Mayo high school, and Rochester ALC. The mobile site can be found at Silver Lake Park and Oak Terrace. For more info and to get the full schedule, click to go to the Rochester Schools website.
