Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester state legislator is the latest to report vandalism involving her campaign signs.

Republican State Senator Carla Nelson revealed the vandalism on her Instagram account along with a video response to the person who spray painted profanity on the sign.

The audio quality of the video is poor but Nelson can be heard saying the sign was visible to young children.

She said, “This has got to stop. Put the black spray paint cans away. “ She also said, “If you don’t agree with someone’s views, talk to them. “

Nelson is seeking her 4th term in the Minnesota Senate.

Last week, Olmsted County Commissioner Jim Bier reported an unknown number of his re-election signs were missing. He says they were taken from numerous locations in Rochester, rural Rochester and the Byron area.
