Rochester Man Accused of Sexually Abusing 11-Year-old Girl
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – A Rochester man has been charged with sexually abusing a young girl he was babysitting.
Charged this week in Olmsted County Court was 55-year-old Thomas Moe.
According to the criminal complaint, the girl was 11-years-old when the alleged abuse began in December 2017. It continued through July 2018.
The girl’s mother told investigators Moe was a neighbor who “watched her children almost every day” while she worked.
Moe denied having any inappropriate contact with the girl.
He is facing one count each of 1st degree and 2nd-degree criminal sexual conduct. He has been ordered to make his first court appearance Aug. 29th.
