Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has worked out a plea agreement in a child pornography case.

32-year-old Joshua Coop entered guilty pleas Tuesday afternoon to one count of disseminating child pornography and two counts of possessing child pornography. In exchange, Olmsted County prosecutors agreed to dismiss another dissemination charge and another count of possession of child pornography.

Coop was charged in the case back in April after investigators executed a search warrant of a residence in Rochester. The search warrant was issued as the result of an investigation that began last fall when a Rochester police investigator was given videos "involving children that appeared to be as young as five engaged in sexual acts."

The search resulted in the seizure of a cell phone and several electronic devices. The criminal complaint indicated a preliminary examination of the cell phone turned up evidence of child pornography and a more thorough investigation found more than 80 child porn videos on the device.

The court document states that investigators determined that most of the videos depicted juveniles in sexual acts. One of the children was a juvenile girl Coop was familiar with.

The plea agreement does not contain a sentencing recommendation. Coop is scheduled to be sentenced on December 19.
