Eyota, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who kept Olmsted County deputies busy Sunday is facing several charges, including assaulting one of the officers.

Deputies were initially called to Eyota where a woman reported 31-year-old Brandon Laughton had used a baseball bat to damage her car. He also reportedly threatened a neighbor who recorded video of the incident with the bat and drove his vehicle at the victim as he left.

Laughton was later found in Rochester and he fought with deputies when they tried to arrest him. He headbutted one of the deputies in the mouth before he was taken into custody.
