Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Bail has been set at $100,000 for a Rochester man accused of terrorizing family members with a machete.

29-year-old Harum Ali Abulle was arraigned Tuesday in Olmsted County Court on felony burglary, harassment, and stalking charges. He is accused of destroying a TV and a sofa by swinging a machete after becoming upset while in the family’s northwest Rochester apartment on Friday.

The police report filed after his arrest also alleges he slashed a tire on a family member’s vehicle in the parking lot of the building and later phoned the apartment and threatened to “cut them up into pieces.” It was alleged he stated he would “finish them off,” while speaking with a police officer on the phone.

Abdulle was arrested a few hours later after an officer spotted him driving on 12th Street Southeast. The police reported a machete was found inside the vehicle.
