Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was among four people injured in a three-vehicle wreck Friday morning in Winona County.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a van was attempting to pass a semi-truck while traveling north on Highway 43 in Wilson Township when it collided with a car traveling south on the highway just after 8:30 a.m.

The driver of the van, 55-year-old Adam Elmi of Rochester, and two passengers, 63-year-old Debra Anderson of La Crosse and 47-year-old Trisha Fenske of Winona, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Elmi was transported to the hospital in La Crosse. Anderson and Fenske were transported to the hospital in Winona.

The driver of the car, 34-year-old Melissa Gruber of Winona, was transported to the hospital in Winona with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi, 75-year-old William Mackey of Walnut Shade, Missouri, was not injured.
