
Rochester Man Injured in Highway 52 Crash Near Zumbrota
Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was transported to St. Marys Hospital Friday morning following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 52 near Zumbrota.

The State Patrol says the crash was reported around 9:15 a.m. near the exit from northbound Highway 52 to Highway 58. The preliminary report on the incident indicates an SUV was traveling north when it left Highway 52 and rolled into the ditch.

60-Year-Old Driver Was Lone Occupant
The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle. He was identified as 60-year-old Alin Veges. The State Patrol reported that he was transported to the hospital by ambulance to be treated for what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The State Patrol says the driver was using a seatbelt and alcohol was not involved.
The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office, Zumbrota Police and the Zumbrota Fire Department assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
