
Rochester Man Involved in Injury Crash in Goodhue County
Cannon Falls, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was among the three people injured in a traffic crash this morning near Cannon Falls.
The State Patrol says the two-vehicle collision was reported around 11:30 AM at the intersection of Highway 56 and Goodhue County Road 9. The preliminary crash report indicates a car driven by 45-year-old Kelly Rasmussen of Kenyon was traveling north on Highway 56 when it collided with a minivan that was headed west on County Road 9.
The driver of the minivan was identified as 43-year-old Ahmed Omar Yusuf of Rochester. The State Patrol says he and Rasmussen were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A passenger in the car, 18-year-old Carter Elverud of Kenyon, was transported to the Northfield Hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol says everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol wasn't not involved.
