Eyota, MN (KROC AM News) – Another Rochester man has been killed in a motorcycle accident.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office reports 53-year-old Patrick O’Hanlon was riding a motorcycle on County Rd 2 Wednesday when he apparently lost control on a curve and went off the roadway.

It appears his head struck a road sign, causing fatal injuries.

A passerby reported the accident and began CPR until first responders arrived but O’Hanlon died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet. The deadly wreck happened around 6:45 PM near the County Rd 10 intersection north of Eyota.

Last week a Rochester man was killed in a motorcycle accident on North Broadway. Police say 28-year-old Rodney Gates was fatally injured when his motorcycle smashed into a car that was trying to make a turn in front of him.
