Former Rochester Man Survives Collision With 18-Wheeler

Zumbrota, MN (KROC AM News) - A former Rochester man has survived a crash with a parked semi-truck.

The State Patrol says the man was driving south on Highway 52 near Zumbrota when he ran into the rear of the truck’s trailer which was parked on the shoulder of the highway.

The crash caused extensive damage but the State Patrol report indicates the driver escaped with non-life threatening injuries. He was identified as 38-year-old Tyler Pronk of Cannon Falls.

The wreck happened around 8:00 AM Wednesday.
