Rochester Park-and-Ride to Temporarily Move This Week
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Commuters are being asked to plan for a change in location regarding a park-and-ride in Rochester.
Rochester Public Transit (RPT) announced plans to temporarily reroute buses from the park-and-ride at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds to Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC). The temporary location shift is due to the Gold Rush event, an antique and vendor show happening at the fairgrounds May 11-14.
As a result of the event, RPT is asking commuters who board buses from the Fairgrounds Park-and-Ride to park at RCTC on Thursday and Friday. RPT said Route 560X will be rerouted to RCTC Park & Ride, keeping the published schedule.
Route 306 will not stop at the Fairgrounds Park and Ride lot. Route 250X and 203 will continue as scheduled at RCTC.
Riders can find the RCTC park-and-ride in the West Lot on the RCTC campus. It is accessible from Hwy. 14 via College Dr. SE.
