
Rochester Police Asking Public’s Help in Solving Recent Murder
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - As the investigation into a recent Rochester murder continues, the police department is reaching out to the public for help.
A Rochester man was found dead in his bedroom on April 16th. Investigators have determined he may have been assaulted and murdered a few days earlier, during the evening hours of Easter Sunday.
The victim was 41-year-old Robert Volgmann, who lived in an apartment at 2319 28 ½ Av NW.
RPD is asking anyone with any information about the case to call 507-328-6800 or Investigator Jean Valere at 507-328-6935. You may also leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or text tips using the P3 Tips app (available at Google Play or App Store)
If the tip leads to an arrest, the tipster may be eligible for a cash reward.
