Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Rochester Public Schools says there may be some changes but it is moving ahead with plans for its School Age Child Care program.

RPS says it is now taking SACC registrations for the summer and the 2020/21 school year. RPS says it may have to make some changes, depending on forthcoming guidance from the Minnesota Department of Education.

Current plans call for SACC services at Ben Franklin, Jefferson, and Washington schools this summer. RPS is planning to have a limited number of children per site and per room.

RPS says the program will follow the safety guidelines recommended by the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
