Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A winter storm warning is expected to remain in effect for southeast Minnesota through Tuesday.

The National Weather Service now expects the heaviest snow to fall between 4:00  - 8:00 PM Monday. Totals of 4 - 8 inches or more are expected by Tuesday morning when the storm will begin to move out of the region. Strong winds will also lead to poor driving conditions.

Rochester Public Schools will dismiss two hours early Monday due to the storm.

Schools will be released as follows:
Middle School - 12:30

High School - 1:00

Elementary School - 1:35
