Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) -  Remember Easter Sunday a year ago?

A record-setting snowstorm swept across southeast Minnesota, dumping nearly a foot of heavy, wet snow in some areas.

Rochester and Mantorville reported 9 inches. Rochester’s official total at the city airport was 7.5 inches That broke the previous record for April 12, which was 7.2 inches in 1962.

Another record may be set in Rochester THIS Easter Sunday.

It could turn out to be the warmest April 4th on record for the area. Forecasters are calling for high temperatures near 75 degrees. Rochester’s record for the date is 77 degrees.

Above-average temperatures are expected to continue into next week.
